Care instructions: None, really. Although as with most wood kitchen tools, rubbing in a little mineral oil (available here, or at almost any pharmacy) will likely prolong its life.

Sturdy, and works great. I oiled and waxed it before use like I did for my cutting boards.

LOVE this transfer board…………bought three of them. The length lets me put the breads in the over without sticking my arm in too far. Perfect width for baguettes. They are sturdy too. I appreciate the hole in the end for hanging.

Overall a nicely machined piece of beech. I have 2 minor quibbles that don’t seem to really affect its utility. The board is bowed about 1/8″ across its length. It’s quite obvious when I place the board on my flat counter top. The second gripe is that the board is only 4″ wide. In fairness, Breadtopia does clearly mark this in the description. But after using it, I wish that it were about an inch wider to give me a little more purchase when holding it. I find myself grabbing it with the tips of my fingers and thumb to leave enough surface to flip the baguette onto. As mentioned earlier, in practice it makes little difference.
This was my first time ordering products from Breadtopia. Service was good. Shipping was quick. Would definitely order again.
