This custom sewn proofing basket liner gives your coiled oval proofing basket dual functionality.

When baking with very wet (e.g. no knead) doughs, we have found that working some rice flour into the liner fabric works very well for preventing sticking to the basket.

Light flouring directly onto the basket surface is sufficient to prevent sticking with ordinary bread dough and giving your bread a classic artisan look.

100% cotton fabric and stitching. Made in Indonesia.

Care instructions: Usually, brushing out is sufficient between uses. For washing: hand wash gently in cold water, hang to dry.

Necessary for my high hydration loaves! Dust generously and clean often.

Excellent liner. After proper flouring I’ve never really had sticking. Hard to get on at first but once I did it actually fits perfectly. Glad to have bought this product.

A fantastic addition to the Breadtopia oval banneton. I was surprised at how easily the sourdough released from the liner. I had dusted it with rice flour and it popped right out. It was a high hydration dough and I was very happy with the results of using this liner. I’m wondering why I didn’t buy them when I first bough the oval bannetons. I would definitely recommend going ahead and buying these to go with your bannetons.

A must have to go with the basket, gives more confidence that the dough will not stick to basket if it is floured only.

Works great for me! I’m not an expert bread maker, so take it for what it’s worth. Helps make it super simple to remove from proofing basket and very easy to clean. Dough has not stuck to the liner at all for me, even after overnight rises.

While these definitely make the removal of the loaf much easier, they will wick moisture out of your loaf. My loaves are covered with *two* airtight covers *and* a sealed bag. Inside the covers is lots of condensation, so you know they work. Still, though, the loaves dry where they are in contact with the liner (top and sides). This presents itself post-bake as crackling and a different crust texture.
