The Baker’s Board Basswood Pizza Peel is meticulously hand-crafted from beautiful, durable basswood. Has tapered edges for easier loading and unloading. Dust it lightly with flour and a sprinkling of corn meal or semolina and your pizza will slide easily onto your baking stone.
The basswood peel comes unfinished. An application of food grade mineral oil is recommended.

Specs: The flat area measures 14″ wide by 16″ long to handle most homemade pizzas. The overall length including handle is 24″. Won’t split or warp. Should provide many years of reliable service.
Care & Maintenance:
Wooden peels are not hand washable or dishwasher safe because unsealed food-safe wood should not be submersed or soaked in water. Your peel can however be scraped free of debris, wiped clean with a damp cloth, air dried in a rack, and applied with Mineral Oil often.
