Emile Henry Giveaway [Aug 2016]
In his book My Bread, Jim Lahey, the godfather of no knead baking, writes – “I confess, though, that my favorite pot is probably the most expensive option, the all ceramic Emile Henry. The high quality ceramic, like iron, transmits heat evenly and well, but it’s lighter than cast iron.”
One Breadtopian posted: “I don’t remember if I touted this before, but the Emile Henry Flame Top Dutch Oven is da bomb. Entirely made of clay, it goes into a 500℉ without a care, and it is much lighter than any cast iron pot.”
My wife, Denyce, on the Emile Henry Flame pot, says “This is my new favorite cooking thing.”
So we’ve been itching to give one of these babies away for a while and since I’m in a very grateful and giving mood after hearing that Breadtopia has just been named a finalist in the 2016 SAVEUR Food Blog Awards, I figured, what better time than right now?

Vote there and leave your comment here before 11pm EDT on Saturday, August 20. We’ll select a winner at random on Sunday, August 21st.
I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I’d be “dead chuffed” (as our Brit friends might put it) to win Best How-To Food Blog, and the fine folks at SAVEUR told us that you can vote as often as you like. Just Sayin’.
