Wooden peels are great for loading a pizza, but for getting them out of your oven you need a thin metal peel to quickly and easily slide under the finished crust. This one will get the job done in both your regular home over or your wood fired pizza oven.
Unless your wood fired oven is humongous, the handle length on this peel is plenty sufficient for loading and unloading your pizzas. (Wearing high cuff oven gloves is always recommended).
Specs:
Large peel: Usable paddle area is 14″ x 14″. Handle is 12″ long. Overall length is 28″.
Smaller peel: Usable paddle area is 12″ x 12. Handle is 12″. Overall length is 26″
The handle is triple-riveted to the pizza peel’s blade for solid feel and stability.
This is a nice peel for the money.

I love this peel! It’s the perfect size, not too heavy, and easily slips my pizzas (on their parchment paper) onto the pizza stone, but more importantly, safely removes them as well. The main issue for most folks will be where to store it, because it is really BIG. I think you might hand it from a magnetic hook on the side of the refrigerator, though.

I purchased this to use with my new outdoor gas pizza oven & it is fabulous! The price is great too! So glad I purchased this one instead of the more expensive one to go with my oven!!
