This is a nice starter jar but it is small for making multiple loaves. I know, my fault for have 2 different clay bakers and a baguette baker!
I’ve noticed that the King Arthur recipe for rustic sourdough (excellent) requires 227g sourdough starter and for ensuring starter for enough on hand recommends 227g starter saved, fed with 227g water, and 227g flour. In this starter jar, with a robust starter, you may blow off your top! I find smaller amounts in this jar work perfect. If I wasn’t dealing with so much starter I’d be in heaven.

It works very well! My sourdough starter was quite happy with this jar, which is very sturdy and easy to use. I love that it comes with a band to mark the starter with, as I didn’t have one!
